Birth Doula Services
Birthing a baby is beautiful, transforming, exhilarating, perfectly natural……and can be quite unpredictable. But it is important to feel seen and heard through your experience, as well as strong, empowered, courageous, and “held”. Giving birth is something that a woman does, I believe it should not be something done to her. She is designed to give birth, to bring forth life. And to do it well! Whether you intend to give birth at home or in a hospital/ birth center, with epidural or without, have a planned cesarean section, or if things don’t go the way you had hoped, my passion is for holding space for you to have the most positive experience possible. Hopefully the one you dreamed of! I will support you as you need from the moment we meet, through your pregnancy, through labor and the birth of your baby, the first few hours after he/or she is in your arms, and into the first week at home.
Currently I offer birth and postpartum support in the South Carolina Upstate as well as Western North Carolina. I’m also proud to be the staff Birth Doula for St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Then I will be available to support you during your labor by text/phone call/ FaceTime.
Prenatal Visits and Postpartum In-Home Visit
Our prenatal visits may be meeting for lunch or tea, going for a walk or short hike, me accompanying you to specialty care provider visits as a second set of ears, attending a childbirth class with you, or even spending time together setting up your nursery. We will talk about anything important to your pregnancy and birth wishes so that you are prepared and comfortable with the birth process as your baby’s birth-day approaches. And of course we will have one lengthy visit to go over your birth preferences in detail. Limitless phone/text/email support means that I am available to you 24/7 to talk, answer questions, process information with you or simply be a listening ear.
Within the first week or so that you are settled at home with your baby, I will spend time with you processing your birth experience, sharing my notes with you, helping with any newborn or breastfeeding concern you may have, and holding baby while you nap or shower if you like.
